Will I be able to see a portfolio of your work?

Yes. In addition to the designs featured on this website, we have an extensive portfolio featuring various styles of faux finishes, murals and hand painted artwork that we welcome you to view.

How long does it take to complete a project?

Most of our faux finishes can be completed over the course of 2-3 days depending on the style of finish and the scale of the project. Naturally, a larger room will take longer to execute. Mural and hand painted artwork may take longer depending on the complexity and size of the design.

What type of wall preparation is needed for faux/mural painting?

Any necessary repairs to the surface should be done in advance. The area must be freshly painted in a satin latex paint finish. We can provide base painting services for walls or ceilings for an additional charge, or we can provide to you the appropriate color sample for the finish you have selected if you prefer to base paint the walls yourself. If you have recently painted an area in your home but have subsequently decided to have faux work done, we can use the existing base color to create a new look for you, as long as the walls are clean, satin in finish, and are not damaged.

Does the room need to be empty prior to work being started?

All furniture will need to be moved at least 4 feet away from the areas being painted. Window treatments, artwork and photos need to be cleared from the room, along with any area rugs. We will use drop cloths to protect your flooring as well as tape off all areas that need protection including moldings, ceilings, door frames, window frames, etc. We will treat your property with the utmost care and respect.
