A Fine Art Exhibit and Sale will be held at Awakening...The Artist Inside, Northville, MI from June 18th-20th. The show will feature several pieces by Shadia Zayed, as well as other local artisits.

See an artist at work! Shadia Zayed will be working on her latest painting at Awakening...The Artist Inside, an art supply store in downtown Northville. Several paintings and drawings will be on display. You'll have an opportunity to watch and ask questions.

Shadia Zayed presented as a guest lecturer at the Three Cities Art Club. Her lecture, "Murals and Wall Decor Techniques by Shadia Zayed" included the following topics:

  • Surface preparation
  • Materials and tools
  • Planning and executing a mural
  • How to incorporate faux/decorative paint techniques into a mural

During the month of August, the Plymouth Coffee Bean hosted a fine art exhibit representing recent work by Shadia Zayed. The exhibit, entitled "Modern Mandalas", featured original acrylic paintings as well as drawings in pencil and colored pencil. Below are some photos of the opening reception, held on Saturday, August 2nd. A sincere thank-you to all of you who attended, and a special thanks to the Coffee Bean for hosting the show!!!
